Community Engagement Symposium
The University of New Mexico hosted a Community Engagement Symposium in the fall of 2023. The symposium focused on Advancing New Mexico and having conversations about how to build better community partnerships. This symposium will serve as a convergence point, drawing together a diverse array of civic leaders and academics in higher education with the shared mission of advancing the state of New Mexico. The primary objective will be to foster a discourse on expanding our reach of community engagement and exploring new partnerships in the state.
Participants engaged in panel discussions on developing strategic initiatives and sharing insights, experiences, and best practices to empower the University of New Mexico and civic leaders with the tools and knowledge needed to address society's critical challenges. Community Engagement at the University of New Mexico is focused on enhancing the quality of life, fostering growth and prosperity, and promoting progress in New Mexico and societies worldwide.
