Community Engagement Symposium - 2024

The University of New Mexico is hosting a Community Engagement Symposium this Fall, 2023. The symposium will focus on Advancing New Mexico and having conversations about how to build better community partnerships. This symposium will serve as a convergence point, drawing together a diverse array of civic leaders and academics in higher education with the shared mission of advancing the state of New Mexico. The primary objective will be to foster a discourse on expanding our reach of community engagement and exploring new partnerships in the state.

Participants will engage in panel discussions that will be focused on developing strategic initiatives and sharing insights, experiences, and best practices to empower the University of New Mexico and civic leaders with the tools and knowledge needed to address critical challenges facing society. Community Engagement at the University of New Mexico is focused on enhancing the quality of life, fostering growth and prosperity, and promoting progress in New Mexico and societies worldwide.
