Community-Based Research Initiative
The Center for Regional Studies (CRS), in partnership with the College of Arts & Sciences, announces a community-based research initiative. This initiative will financially support two community-based research projects up to $30,000 each for one fiscal year. Evaluations of proposals will be made by a review committee using a detailed rubric. As always, the award depends upon the funds' availability each year.
CRS invites project proposals engaging with a New Mexico or Southwest community that works to develop or assist with practical and real-life solutions to the challenges people face in the twenty-first century. The project should be co-directed by a faculty member from a department or program in the College of Arts & Sciences along with a community-based partner or partners.
The community-based research project must coincide with the mission of the Center for Regional Studies. Please read the call for proposals and application packet for more details.
