Two seniors in the School of Engineering have been selected to receive scholarships from the engineering honor society Tau Beta Pi.
Mia Baca, a student in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, and Moises Loya, a student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, are among 253 engineering students from 1,328 applicants nationwide to receive scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year.
UNM student collaborates on art project with local elementary school, City of Albuquerque

Art student Angel Estrada from The University of New Mexico is working with children at a local elementary school on a project that will eventually enliven and beautify the streets of Albuquerque. He will graduate in December with a bachelor’s degree in Arts Education.
